A little bit of Exmoor from The Pack Horse

Hello to all our lovely guests.

Well our 20th Anniversary Year hasn’t gone down as we were hoping however, every cloud has a silver lining and in these strange times we find ourselves in, not only have we had a little extra time to spruce up all the cottages we’re now getting tech savvy and increasing our online and social media presence.

We thought that, since you can’t come visit us at the moment, we’d bring a slice of Exmoor to your inboxes and update you on everything we’ve been up to here at The Pack Horse.

The nice weather of late has made us have itchy feet and get out on more lovely scenic walks in our area. We’ve collated a few of our images to give you a ‘Virtual Exmoor’ and maybe bring you inspiration for places to tick off when your next visiting.

With no rest for the wicked, over the past few weeks we’ve been adding a lick of paint to the cottages, laid new carpets, finished the new kitchen in Stable Cottage and even taken up a bit of topiary in the courtyard. Alas I couldn’t create the rabbit shaped bush I was hoping for!! Rose Cottage also dons rainbow bunting to show our support for our invaluable NHS and now the courtyard has never looked so good!

With the help of our lovely assistant, Chloe, we’re regularly updating our Instagram and we would love it if you would give us a follow, even if it’s just for some of our awful puns!

We hope to bring you a regular dose of Virtual Exmoor and when we’re back up and running you’ll be the first to know.

Hope you’re all safe and well,

Brian and Linda
