But more than all that, the owners were just SO lovely, they completely made our stay.

They couldn’t have been more welcoming, and were so helpful and friendly throughout the week. They even recommended a place to visit that we’d never heard of before (despite visiting the area off and on since childhood) that is now our new favourite beach!

We are already looking forward to coming back again next year, thank you so much Wills and Paul!

There are 5 holiday accommodations at the Pack Horse and I stayed in Honeysuckle which has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. It had everything I could have wanted. I slept so well and woke up listening to the river Aller which runs alongside.
I was quite nervous booking a solo holiday, but Wills and Paul went out of their way to assist me with local walking groups that I was able to join in with.
Whether you are booking as a family, a couple, or even solo like me, the Pack Horse and the wonderful hosts will welcome you with open arms.

The setting is stunning, adjacent to Allerford Pack Horse Bridge, with beautiful surrounding views and walks.
We stayed in Rose apartment, comfortable and well equipped accommodation for 2-3, we had everything we needed, including the sound of the babbling brook outside the window and a courtyard garden for all guests to use.
This is a great place to stay and offers lots of opportunities to explore the surrounding area of Exmoor. I highly recommend it.
