					  We have just returned from a glorious week, staying at The Pack Horse, Allerford, Exmoor.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome from the hosts,... read more Wills and Paul, and received Wills’s home made scones, with jam and clotted cream, delicious!

The setting is stunning, adjacent to Allerford Pack Horse Bridge, with beautiful surrounding views and walks.

We stayed in Rose apartment, comfortable and well equipped accommodation for 2-3, we had everything we needed, including the sound of the babbling brook outside the window and a courtyard garden for all guests to use.

This is a great place to stay and offers lots of opportunities to explore the surrounding area of Exmoor. I highly recommend it.

					  Long awaited getaway - Second time of staying here. Exactly as we remembered it to be. Stunning. Made to feel very safe and welcome. (Hand sanitizer stations provided)

Stayed in bridge view apartment which... read more has the balcony overlooking the packhorse bridge,And the beautiful peaceful surroundings of Allerford.

Apartment well equipped with essentials, beds extremely comfortable. Where the apartment is positioned it catches both morning and afternoon sun. Linda and Brian extremely friendly and always ready to have a chat. On arrival we had been left a much needed tray of drinks and homemade cake. Plenty of walks from the doorstep or a 3minute drive to Lynmouth/Lynton. Thankyou for a wonderful stay. Will definitely be back.

					  Exmoor National Park for walking, exploring and enjoying. The Pack Horse at Allerford is the place to stay! - The Pack Horse is a truly wonderful holiday destination. Nestled in the heart of Exmoor National Park, there are spectacular walks nearby and further afield. The hosts, Wills and Paul,... read more  welcomed me with fresh homemade scones, jam and clotted cream! There are 5 holiday accommodations at the Pack Horse and I stayed in Honeysuckle which has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. It had everything I could have wanted. I slept so well and woke up listening to the river Aller which runs alongside. 

I was quite nervous booking a solo holiday, but Wills and Paul went out of their way to assist me with local walking groups that I was able to join in with. 

Whether you are booking as a family, a couple, or even solo like me, the Pack Horse and the wonderful hosts will welcome you with open arms.
