The rooms in the... read more Stables were amazing, so clean and cosy, and everything readily to hand. A really quiet and peaceful place to stay, yet so convenient. There is a bus stop just 5 minutes walk away, and you must take the open top bus along the coast to Lynmouth. An easy walk takes you through Bossington to the beach, and then along to Porlock Weir. Plenty of places to drink and eat in the area. recommend Cross Lane Restaurant, just next door. An ideal place to base yourself for walks, bus rides or even drives, on and around Exmoor. Highly recommended.

Set in a beautiful part of the world with easy access to good walks. Booking was easy and the establishment is run smoothly and the owner’s friendly.
