Within five miles is the seaside resort of Minehead, the home of the West Somerset Steam Railway and the medieval village of Dunster with it’s famous Castle and yarn market.

Cream Tea and Cake

Always a favourite topic – there are several lovely tea shops in the local area – best combined with a walk.

Beavers Walk

A pleasant flat walk across the road and through an orchard will take you to the Holincote estate where our local beaver population live, a sectioned off part of the river which is enclosed is home to a family of beavers who are helping to conserve the water levels of the river Aller, if you're lucky you might catch a glimpse of the three kits born in August 2023.
